What battery warranty does a used Volkswagen ID.3 have?

Volkswagen covers the battery of its ID models for 8 years or 160,000 km against capacity falling below 70%. The warranty stays with the car, so the date of first registration is what counts.

Does an electric Volkswagen pay IUC road tax in Portugal?

No: electric cars are exempt from IUC and paid no ISV when first registered. On a used ID.3 or e-Golf, yearly costs come down to insurance, servicing and electricity.

What should I check on a used Volkswagen ID.3 or ID.4?

Ask a Volkswagen dealer for the battery health report and confirm the software version, as early cars received several updates. Also try a rapid charge at a DC charger to see that it reaches the expected power.
