What should I check on a Renault Kangoo or Trafic sold by a business?

Work vans often cover many short trips with heavy loads. Check the clutch, rear suspension, load floor and sliding doors, and ask for the fleet's maintenance invoices.

Is a Renault van taxed the same as a car?

Not necessarily. A Renault registered as a light goods vehicle (ligeiro de mercadorias) falls under different IUC and IPO rules from a passenger car. The category is shown on the registration certificate (certificado de matrícula).

Diesel or petrol around Leiria?

If you regularly drive the A1 or A8 to Lisbon or Porto, a dCi diesel is a good match. For mostly town driving, a petrol or E-Tech hybrid suits better.
