Question 1

Which Peugeot 3008 generation should I look for?

Accepted Answer

The first generation, sold until 2016, is a roomy crossover with a more conventional dashboard. The second brought the SUV styling and the i-Cockpit, and a third, electric-led generation arrived in 2024.

Question 2

Is the plug-in hybrid Peugeot 3008 worth it?

Accepted Answer

It makes sense if you can charge regularly, since short trips can then run on electricity. Its low official CO2 lowers IUC and, on an imported car, ISV. Check the battery's condition and that the charging cable is included.

Question 3

What does a diesel Peugeot 3008 need?

Accepted Answer

The BlueHDi engines have a particulate filter and, on most versions, AdBlue. Mostly short urban journeys can clog the filter, so a diesel suits drivers who cover regular motorway distances.

Question 4

Is there a four-wheel-drive Peugeot 3008?

Accepted Answer

Only the Hybrid4 versions drive all four wheels, using an electric motor at the rear: a diesel hybrid on the first generation and a petrol plug-in on the second. Other versions are front-wheel drive, some with Grip Control for loose surfaces.
