Does the Nissan Qashqai 1.2 DIG-T engine have problems?

The 1.2 DIG-T in early Qashqai J11s, shared with Renault, became known for oil consumption on some units. Check the level and the service history; the 1.3 DIG-T that replaced it has a better reputation.

How does the Nissan Qashqai e-Power work?

The petrol engine works only as a generator, and the electric motor drives the wheels with no gearbox. It drives like an electric car but fills up at a petrol pump.

Which petrol Nissan uses the least fuel?

Among used cars, Micras with the small three-cylinder IG-T engines are among the brand's most frugal. For mostly town driving, the Qashqai e-Power cuts consumption noticeably compared with the 1.3 DIG-T.
