Which Nissan models come with a manual gearbox?

Almost the whole range of earlier generations: Micra, Note, Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail and the Navara pick-up. On recent electrified models such as the Qashqai e-Power, the manual has gone.

Is the Nissan Qashqai manual gearbox reliable?

Yes, the Qashqai's six-speed manual is generally robust, and wear concentrates on the clutch and the dual-mass flywheel of the dCi engines. A rattle at idle that stops when you press the clutch points to the flywheel.

Manual or CVT automatic Nissan: which should I choose?

The manual is simpler to maintain and avoids the cost of repairing an Xtronic CVT. The CVT is comfortable in town but needs gearbox oil changes and a record proving they were done.
