Question 1

Do I need quattro on an Audi SUV?

Accepted Answer

Not for most Portuguese roads: smaller models such as the Q2 and Q3 often come with front-wheel drive, which is enough day to day. quattro helps on wet mountain roads, gravel tracks and when towing, at the cost of extra weight and fuel.

Question 2

Is an electric Audi SUV cheaper to own in Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Electric cars pay neither ISV nor IUC, which makes a real difference on a large SUV. Ask for a battery health report and check that the charging cables come with the car.

Question 3

What should I check on a plug-in hybrid Audi Q3 or Q5?

Accepted Answer

Check that the charging cable is present, that the car charges from a normal socket and that the electric range on a full battery is plausible. Ask whether the high-voltage battery warranty is still running.

Question 4

Which Audi SUV has seven seats?

Accepted Answer

The Q7 is the only Audi SUV offered with a third row of seats, usually as an option. Check whether a particular car has it rather than assuming so.
