Question 1

Which T-Roc engine suits me best?

Accepted Answer

The three-cylinder 1.0 TSI is enough for town and short trips, while the 1.5 TSI is more flexible and can shut down two cylinders when cruising. The 2.0 TDI suits drivers who cover long distances. For all-wheel drive, look for a 2.0 TSI or 2.0 TDI with 4Motion.

Question 2

What Crit'Air sticker does a T-Roc get?

Accepted Answer

Petrol T-Rocs meet the Euro 6 standard and get the Crit'Air 1 sticker. Diesel versions get Crit'Air 2, which some low-emission zones treat less favourably. Rules differ from city to city, so check the zone where you drive most.

Question 3

Which documents must a T-Roc seller hand over in France?

Accepted Answer

The certificat d'immatriculation, crossed out, dated and signed, a certificat de situation administrative less than 15 days old and the declaration of sale (cession). As most T-Rocs are now over four years old, a contrôle technique less than six months old is also required. You then have one month to register the car in your name.

Question 4

What should I check on a T-Roc Cabriolet?

Accepted Answer

The Cabriolet has a fabric roof, four seats, front-wheel drive and TSI petrol engines only. Open and close the roof several times and look for damp on the carpets and around the seals. Its boot is smaller than the five-door's.
