Car valuation in Spain
Car prices move week to week, so the only honest answer to "what is this worth" comes from what similar cars are being advertised for today. This page gives you that figure for Spain, along with the range most comparable cars fall into. Use it to sanity-check an asking price, or to set your own.
Value a car
Tell us the model, how old the car is and how far it has travelled, and we will show you what comparable cars are being advertised for right now. The figure comes from live listings across marketplaces and dealers, not from a fixed price book. It takes a few seconds and asks nothing about you.
How the valuation works
The estimate comes from cars on sale right now that match what you entered — same model, fuel and gearbox, close on age and mileage. We take the spread of their asking prices and show you the middle of it, along with the range most of them fall into.
That makes it a picture of the asking market, not of what cars actually sold for. Sale prices are not published anywhere in Europe, so no free tool has them. Expect a private sale to land a little under the middle figure, and a dealer part-exchange offer to sit well under it — the dealer has to recondition the car, warrant it and wait for a buyer.
What moves the number most
- Mileage — the single strongest factor after age, and the one buyers check first.
- Gearbox and fuel — the same model can differ by thousands between an automatic diesel and a manual petrol.
- Service history — not something a tool can see, but a complete record is worth real money and a missing one costs it.
- Where it is being sold — the same car does not fetch the same price in every region.
Common questions
Is the valuation free? Yes, and there is nothing to sign up for. We do not pass your details to dealers, because we do not ask for them.
How current is it? It is computed against listings as they stand today, and it moves as the market does. A figure you took a month ago is worth checking again.
Why is my car not listed? Rare models and unusual specifications sometimes have too few comparable cars on sale to give an honest answer. We would rather say so than invent a number.
