Polo or up!: which small Volkswagen should I choose?

The up! is shorter and simpler, built for town, with a three-cylinder 1.0 and four usable seats. The Polo is a full supermini, with more space, TSI and TDI engines and better motorway manners.

What goes wrong with a used Volkswagen Polo?

On the Polo 6R, the chain-driven 1.2 TSI from before 2014 can stretch its timing chain, and the seven-speed dry-clutch DSG can suffer mechatronic faults. The Polo AW with 1.0 TSI engines has a better record.

Which DGT label does a Volkswagen e-up! get in Spain?

The e-up! is a battery electric car and gets the CERO label, which allows unrestricted access to low-emission zones. Many councils also discount its IVTM.
