Which Volkswagen Taigo versions have a manual gearbox?

Only the 1.0 TSI: the 95 hp engine comes with a five-speed manual and the 110 hp engine with a six-speed. The 1.5 TSI is sold exclusively with the seven-speed DSG.

Should I buy a manual or a DSG Volkswagen Taigo?

A manual Taigo suits buyers who drive mostly out of town and want lower running costs, since a clutch replacement is cheaper than DSG repairs. For heavy city traffic the DSG is more relaxing, but a worn one judders when pulling away.

How do you transfer a used Volkswagen Taigo bought privately in Spain?

The buyer and seller sign a contract and apply for the change of ownership at the DGT, and the buyer pays ITP to their region. A car bought from a dealer pays no ITP.

A manual Taigo always has the three-cylinder 1.0 TSI: the 95 hp version uses a five-speed gearbox, the 110 hp one a six-speed. The 150 hp 1.5 TSI was never offered with a clutch pedal, so manual cars skip the DSG's dry-clutch wear.
