How many gears does the manual Volkswagen T-Cross have?

The 95 hp 1.0 TSI Volkswagen T-Cross has a five-speed manual, while the 110 and 115 hp versions have six speeds. The sixth gear makes motorway cruising quieter and more economical.

Is a manual Volkswagen T-Cross cheaper to run than the DSG?

A manual Volkswagen T-Cross avoids the dry-clutch DSG's clutch and mechatronic repairs, the costliest gearbox faults on this car. Its own clutch is a normal wear item, so check that it bites smoothly.

Was there a diesel manual Volkswagen T-Cross?

Yes, the Volkswagen T-Cross was sold with a 1.6 TDI diesel in its first years, available with a manual gearbox. It was later dropped from the range, so diesel examples are older.
