Is there a manual Toyota Yaris hybrid?

No, every Yaris hybrid uses the e-CVT automatic transmission. A manual Yaris is always petrol, diesel on earlier generations, or a GR Yaris.

Is the manual Toyota Yaris 1.4 D-4D a good buy?

It is frugal and sturdy on the open road, but its particulate filter suffers from town-only use. As a pre-2015 diesel it normally carries the B label, with more restrictions in low-emission zones.

What should I check on a used manual Toyota Yaris?

Test the clutch on a hill start and make sure the gears engage quietly, second gear especially. On a GR Yaris, ask for the service history and check whether it has seen track use.
