Is the Toyota C-HR e-CVT gearbox reliable?

Yes: the C-HR's e-CVT is among the most durable automatics, because it has no clutch, belt or torque converter. The hybrid battery's cooling is more worth checking, as its filter under the rear seat can clog.

Was there a manual Toyota C-HR?

Yes, but only with the first generation's 1.2 turbo petrol, which came with a six-speed manual or a CVT. Every C-HR hybrid is automatic.

Which DGT label does an automatic Toyota C-HR get?

A C-HR hybrid gets the ECO label, and the second generation's plug-in hybrid gets CERO. A 1.2 turbo petrol carries the C label.

On a C-HR, automatic nearly always means hybrid: the e-CVT is a planetary gearset with two motor-generators, with no clutch, belt or torque converter to wear. The rare 1.2 turbo automatics used a conventional CVT, some with all-wheel drive.
