How do I check the battery health of a used Tesla?

Charge it to full and compare the displayed range with the figure that version had when new; a modest loss is normal. A Tesla service centre can run a fuller diagnosis before you buy.

Does a used Tesla keep its battery warranty in Spain?

Yes, the battery and drive unit warranty follows the car, not the owner, until it runs out. It lasts eight years with a kilometre cap that depends on the model and version.

Do I pay ITP on a used Tesla bought privately in Spain?

Yes, a private sale pays ITP on the tax office's valuation of the car, while a dealer sale includes VAT instead. The transfer is then registered with the DGT like any other car.

From €15,000 to €159,500, half under €31,990 · Typically 2022 with 75,000 km · Most listed: Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, and Tesla Model X. With a Tesla the real questions are how much range the pack has kept and how the car was charged. Every one carries the DGT zero label, which opens low-emission zones and, in many municipalities, cuts IVTM by up to three quarters.
