Which diesel SsangYong is best for towing?

The SsangYong Rexton and Musso with the 2.2 e-XDi diesel are the best for towing, combining a ladder frame with strong low-down torque. The 1.6 diesel in the Tivoli and Korando suits lighter trailers only.

Does a diesel SsangYong have a particulate filter?

Yes: every modern SsangYong diesel has a particulate filter, which needs regular motorway runs to regenerate. A car used only for short town trips is the one most likely to have a clogged filter.

Which DGT label does a diesel SsangYong get?

A diesel SsangYong that meets Euro 6 gets the DGT's C label. Earlier Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesels get B, which faces more restrictions in low-emission zones.
