Is the five-speed Skoda Kamiq 1.0 TSI 95 enough?

The five-speed 95 hp Kamiq is fine for town and ordinary roads, but feels stretched on motorways with a full load. The six-speed versions are quieter at cruising speed.

Manual or DSG: which Skoda Kamiq should I buy?

A manual Kamiq costs less to maintain and avoids the dual-clutch repairs some DSG cars need. The DSG is more comfortable in heavy traffic, so it suits buyers who drive mostly in the city.

How is a used Skoda Kamiq transferred in Spain?

Ownership changes at the DGT, at a traffic office or through a gestoría. On a private sale the buyer pays ITP, which a dealer sale avoids; also make sure the ITV is valid.

From €8,250 to €28,990, half under €17,900 · Typically 2023 with 57,900 km. The entry-level 1.0 TSI 95 Kamiq came with a five-speed manual, while the stronger 1.0 and 1.5 TSI versions used a six-speed. A manual Kamiq avoids the dry-clutch DSG's low-speed judder and keeps running costs at their simplest.
