Is the DSG in the Skoda Kamiq reliable?

The seven-speed dry-clutch DSG in the Kamiq is generally reliable, but worn clutches or a faulty mechatronic unit can cause judder or harsh shifts at low speed. Test it in slow traffic and on a hill start before buying.

Which Skoda Kamiq engines came with DSG?

The DSG was offered with the 1.0 TSI in its more powerful version and with the 1.5 TSI 150. The entry-level 1.0 TSI 95 came only with a manual gearbox.

Does a Skoda Kamiq automatic get a different DGT label?

No: the gearbox does not change the label. Every petrol Kamiq, automatic or manual, carries the DGT C label, with the same access to low-emission zones.
