From €1,200 to €24,849, half under €14,900 · Typically 2024 with 43,781 km. The manual is the Fabia's default gearbox, and it spares a buyer the dry-clutch DSG some automatic versions use. Is a manual Skoda Fabia better than the DSG?

For most buyers, yes: the manual is cheaper to maintain and avoids the dry-clutch DSG, whose mechatronic unit can fail on high-mileage cars. The DSG suits heavy city driving, but the manual is simpler and far more common. Check that the clutch bites cleanly and the gears engage without crunching.

How many gears does a manual Skoda Fabia have?

Most have five, especially with the 1.0 MPI and the less powerful TSI and TDI engines. Stronger versions, such as the 110 hp 1.0 TSI, usually have six. The sixth gear makes the car quieter at motorway speeds.

Is a manual diesel Skoda Fabia still worth buying in Spain?

A manual TDI Fabia suits long distances, but only older cars have one. A diesel gets the DGT C label only if it meets Euro 6; earlier ones usually carry the B label, which some low-emission zones restrict. For city use, a petrol manual is the simpler choice.
