Who pays the ITP on a used Renault bought in Valencia?

In a private sale the buyer pays ITP to the Generalitat Valenciana, calculated on the official valuation tables. A dealer sale carries IVA instead.

Does Valencia have a low-emission zone for older Renaults?

Spain's climate law requires towns of more than 50,000 people to create low-emission zones, and Valencia is among them. Check the current rules if an older Renault without a label is on your list.

What should I check on a used Renault from the Valencia coast?

Salt air by the sea can corrode brake discs, the underbody and fixings, so look underneath cars kept near the coast. Sun also ages plastics and rubber seals on cars parked outdoors.
