Which engines came with a manual Renault Captur?

Nearly all of them: the three-cylinder TCe petrols, the LPG version, the 1.3 TCe and the dCi and Blue dCi diesels were sold with a manual gearbox. Only the E-Tech hybrids are automatic-only.

Is a manual Renault Captur more reliable than the EDC automatic?

As a rule, yes: the manual gearbox has no widespread known fault, while the EDC dual-clutch can judder at low speed. On a manual, check that the clutch bites cleanly and without vibration.

Is the LPG Renault Captur a manual?

Yes, the factory LPG Captur sold in Spain pairs its three-cylinder petrol engine with a manual gearbox. It carries the DGT ECO label, which eases access to low-emission zones.
