Question 1

Which DGT label does a used Cayenne get?

Accepted Answer

It depends on fuel and emissions standard. Petrol Cayennes from 2006 onward carry the C label, diesels only once they meet Euro 6, and the E-Hybrid gets ECO or the zero label depending on its electric range.

Question 2

What should I check on an older Cayenne?

Accepted Answer

Ask for proof of work on the air suspension if it is fitted, as leaking struts and tired compressors are a common bill. On first-generation V8s, the plastic coolant pipes under the intake are a known failure point.

Question 3

Does buying a Cayenne privately cost more in tax?

Accepted Answer

Yes: in Spain a sale between private individuals pays ITP, a transfer tax whose rate each autonomous community sets, while a dealer sale does not. On a car of this value the difference counts, and Porsche Approved dealers add a warranty.

Question 4

Can a Cayenne enter low-emission zones?

Accepted Answer

That depends on its label and each city's own rules. Cars with C can usually enter, while B or no label face restrictions in a growing number of Spanish cities; the E-Hybrid has the widest access.
