Question 1

Which Peugeot van suits my work?

Accepted Answer

The Partner is a small van for city deliveries and trades, the Expert is the mid-size van offered in several lengths, and the Boxer is the large van for heavy or bulky loads. Rifter and Traveller are the passenger-carrying versions of the Partner and Expert.

Question 2

Can a diesel van enter Spain's low-emission zones?

Accepted Answer

It depends on its DGT environmental label. A Euro 6 diesel normally carries the C label, Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesels the B label, and older ones none at all; each city decides which labels may enter.

Question 3

Is the ITV different for a Peugeot van?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a van registered for carrying goods goes to the ITV more often than a passenger car and moves to annual inspections sooner. Its category is shown on the ficha técnica, which is worth checking before you buy.

Question 4

What should I check on an electric Peugeot e-Partner or e-Expert?

Accepted Answer

Ask for a battery health report and check which charging power the van accepts, as the onboard charger differs between versions. Electric versions carry the zero label, which gives the widest access to low-emission zones.

Question 5

Do I pay ITP on a used Peugeot van?

Accepted Answer

Buying from a private seller, you pay ITP to your region of residence; buying from a dealer, VAT is included in the price and no ITP is due. The transfer itself is registered with the DGT.
