Question 1

Which Peugeot 3008 has four-wheel drive?

Accepted Answer

In the 2016 to 2023 generation, only the Hybrid4 plug-in drives all four wheels, using an electric motor at the rear. Front-wheel-drive versions were offered with Grip Control, which adapts traction to mud, sand or snow but is not four-wheel drive.

Question 2

Is a plug-in hybrid 3008 worth it in Madrid?

Accepted Answer

The Hybrid and Hybrid4 plug-ins carry the CERO label, which opens Madrid's low-emission zones and suits short electric commutes. Without regular charging they become heavy petrol cars, so they make sense mainly with a charging point.

Question 3

What should I check on a diesel Peugeot 3008?

Accepted Answer

BlueHDi diesels rely on an AdBlue system whose tank and pump can fail, bringing up warnings and eventually preventing a restart. Ask whether it has been repaired and check that no warnings show; on the 1.2 PureTech petrol, ask for the timing belt records instead.

Question 4

How does the first Peugeot 3008 differ?

Accepted Answer

The 3008 sold until 2016 is a taller, MPV-style crossover with a more upright driving position and a conventional dashboard. It has more modest engines and an older interior, and its diesels may only carry the B label, which counts in Madrid.
