What is the problem with the Opel Corsa F 1.2 engine?

The Opel Corsa F 1.2 has an oil-bathed timing belt that degrades earlier than planned. Debris can block the oil pump, so check whether the belt has been inspected or replaced.

Which Opel Corsa petrol engine is most reliable?

The naturally aspirated 1.2 and 1.4 in the Opel Corsa D and E are known as simple and durable. Ask for proof of timing replacement for the engine in question and check for oil leaks at the cam cover.

What DGT label does a petrol Opel Corsa get?

A Euro 4 or later petrol Opel Corsa carries the C label, which covers practically every Corsa D, E and F. That label allows driving in most low-emission zones.
