Which Nissan diesel engine is the most reliable?

The 1.5 dCi, shared with Renault and fitted to the Qashqai, Juke, Micra and Note, is generally robust if serviced on time. The 1.6 dCi in the J11 Qashqai and X-Trail adds more pull for heavier loads.

Which DGT label does a diesel Nissan get?

Euro 6 diesels, registered from about 2015, carry the C label, and Euro 4 and 5 ones carry B. That decides whether a dCi Qashqai can enter the low-emission zones of Madrid and Barcelona.

Is a used Nissan Navara diesel a good buy?

The Navara's dCi engines cope well with towing and rough tracks, but check the chassis for corrosion and the clutch for wear on hard-worked trucks. Ask whether it was used on building sites or farms.
