What is the difference between MG Hybrid+ and the MG EHS?

Hybrid+ models are full hybrids that never need plugging in and carry the ECO label. The EHS has a larger battery charged from a socket, covers longer distances on electricity and carries the 0 emisiones label.

Is the MG3 Hybrid+ economical in the city?

Yes, the MG3 Hybrid+ runs much of the time on electricity at low speeds, so its urban consumption is low. On the motorway the gap with a petrol car narrows.

How do I check the battery of a used MG plug-in hybrid?

Charge the EHS fully and compare the electric range shown with what it achieved when new, allowing for temperature. MG's separate battery warranty may still apply, so ask for its start date.
