Which engine comes with the manual MG ZS?

The manual is paired with the 1.5 petrol: the VTi-Tech in the first generation and a newer 1.5 in the second. The 1.0 T-GDI turbo, the Hybrid+ and the electric EV are automatic only.

Is the MG ZS manual reliable?

The 1.5 VTi-Tech manual is the mechanically simplest ZS, with no turbo or automatic gearbox to maintain. A full MG service record also keeps any remaining factory warranty valid.

What DGT label and road tax apply to a manual MG ZS?

A manual ZS is petrol and gets the C label, so it can enter most Spanish low-emission zones. The yearly IVTM is set by each municipality, usually on fiscal horsepower, so it varies from town to town.
