Which MG ZS automatic should I buy?

The 1.0 T-GDI is the cheapest automatic and suits mixed driving. The ZS Hybrid+ uses less fuel in town and carries the ECO label, while the ZS EV suits buyers who can charge at home.

What DGT label does an automatic MG ZS get?

The 1.0 T-GDI petrol automatic gets the C label, the ZS Hybrid+ gets ECO and the ZS EV the zero-emissions label. ECO and zero labels ease access to low-emission zones and, in many towns, earn an IVTM discount.

What should I check on a used automatic MG ZS?

Check that the gearbox shifts smoothly from cold and that software updates have been applied at an MG workshop. On a ZS EV, ask for a battery health report, which an MG dealer can provide.
