Where is ITP paid on a used Mercedes bought in Murcia?

In a private sale, the buyer pays ITP to the Murcia Regional Tax Agency, based on the car's official value. A dealer sale pays no ITP because the price already includes IVA.

Does the DGT label matter for driving a Mercedes in Murcia?

Yes: by law, towns of more than 50,000 people, such as Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca and Molina de Segura, must have low-emission zones. The label decides access as each phase comes into force.

What should I check on a used Mercedes in the Region of Murcia?

Make sure the air conditioning cools properly and the dashboard has not cracked in the sun. On a car used on rural tracks, check the air and cabin filters, and near the Mar Menor the underside.
