Are Mazda Skyactiv-G petrol engines reliable?

Yes, Skyactiv-G engines are naturally aspirated, so there is no turbocharger to wear, and they have a solid durability record. They need revs for brisk overtaking, which some drivers mistake for a lack of power.

What is the Mazda Skyactiv-X engine?

Skyactiv-X is a 2.0 petrol that uses spark-controlled compression ignition to run leaner, sold in the Mazda3 and CX-30 from 2019. In Europe it always came with the M Hybrid system, so it carries the DGT ECO label.

Which DGT label does a petrol Mazda get?

A petrol Mazda registered from 2006 carries at least the C label, and those with M Hybrid, including every Skyactiv-X, get ECO. The DGT website shows any car's label from its number plate.
