Is the 7-year warranty transferable on a used manual Kia?

Yes. Kia's seven-year or 150,000 km warranty from first registration passes to the next owner, provided the car was serviced on schedule, so ask for the service record.

What is the iMT gearbox on a Kia?

It is a six-speed manual paired with Kia's 48-volt mild hybrid, with the clutch operated electronically. The engine can switch off while coasting, and the car carries the DGT's ECO label.

How do I check the clutch on a used manual Kia Sportage?

Pull away on a slope and feel for slipping or judder, and note where the clutch bites. A biting point near the top of the pedal suggests wear, and on diesel versions the dual-mass flywheel adds to the cost of replacement.
