Which DGT label does a diesel Jeep get?

A diesel Jeep meeting Euro 6, broadly those registered from late 2015, gets the C label; older Euro 4 and 5 diesels get the B label. Check the label before buying if you drive into low-emission zones.

Is the Jeep Compass 2.0 MultiJet reliable?

The 2.0 MultiJet is a proven diesel, but its nine-speed automatic can shift roughly, and town-only use clogs the particulate filter. A test drive with the gearbox both cold and warm shows most problems.

Which diesel Jeep is best for towing?

The Grand Cherokee 3.0 V6 diesel and the Wrangler are the most capable tow cars in the range. Check the towing capacity on the ficha técnica and that the tow bar is approved and recorded at the ITV.

In town, the particulate filter needs regular motorway runs.
