Question 1

Is the Jaecoo warranty transferable to a second owner?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer warranty is tied to the car rather than the owner, so it normally continues after a sale while it is still in force. Ask for the service record from the official network, since missed services can put it at risk.

Question 2

Which DGT label does a Jaecoo carry?

Accepted Answer

The petrol versions get the C label. The plug-in hybrid gets the ECO or zero emissions label depending on its electric range; you can check it by number plate with the DGT, and it decides access to low-emission zones.

Question 3

Who services a Jaecoo in Spain?

Accepted Answer

Jaecoo shares its dealer and workshop network with Omoda, another Chery brand. As that network is still growing, check how far the nearest authorised workshop is before buying.

Question 4

What should I check on a used plug-in hybrid Jaecoo?

Accepted Answer

Ask for the charging cable and check that the car charges and runs on electricity alone. The high-voltage battery usually has its own, longer warranty, so confirm its terms and how long it has left.
