Is the Hyundai 1.7 CRDi engine reliable?

The 1.7 CRDi in the ix35, Tucson and i40 has a good reputation for durability when serviced on time. As with any modern diesel, a car used only in town can suffer a clogged particulate filter or EGR valve.

Which DGT label does a diesel Hyundai get?

A Euro 6 diesel Hyundai, roughly from 2015, gets the C label, and Euro 4 or 5 diesels get the B label. The 48-volt mild-hybrid 1.6 CRDi versions get the ECO label.

Is a diesel Hyundai Tucson worth buying used?

For high annual mileage, yes: the diesel Tucson is economical on long journeys and suits towing. For mostly urban use, a petrol or hybrid Tucson avoids particulate-filter problems and has easier access to low-emission zones.
