What is the iMT gearbox on the Hyundai Kona?

iMT is a six-speed manual with an electronically controlled clutch, fitted to 48V mild-hybrid Konas. It keeps a clutch pedal, but disengages the engine when you lift off to save fuel.

Is a manual Hyundai Kona simpler to maintain than the automatic?

A manual 1.0 T-GDi avoids dual-clutch wear and is usually the simplest Kona to keep. The clutch is a wear part, so feel for a high biting point or slipping under load on the test drive.

Which DGT label does a manual Hyundai Kona have?

Manual petrol Konas get the C label and iMT 48V versions the ECO label. First-generation diesels, all Euro 6, get the C label too.
