What automatic gearbox does the Hyundai Kona have?

Most automatic Konas use a dual-clutch gearbox: a seven-speed unit on the turbo petrols and a six-speed one on the hybrid. The Kona Electric drives through a single fixed ratio.

What should I check on a used Hyundai Kona dual-clutch?

On the test drive, pull away gently in traffic and in reverse: judder or hesitation at low speed points to clutch wear. Ask whether the gearbox has had software updates or repairs under warranty.

Is the automatic Hyundai Kona hybrid ECO-labelled?

Yes, the Kona Hybrid carries the DGT ECO label, which opens low-emission zones and often brings parking discounts in Spanish cities. The electric version carries the zero label.
