Which Hyundai i30 petrol engine should I choose?

The 1.0 T-GDi suits town driving and short trips, while the 1.4 T-GDi and later 1.5 T-GDi pull a loaded estate more easily. After the 2020 facelift the 1.5 T-GDi became a 48-volt mild hybrid with the DGT ECO label.

Is a used Hyundai i30 N a good buy?

The i30 N is a sought-after hot hatch with a 2.0 T-GDi turbo, but one driven hard on track wears its clutch, brakes and tyres quickly. Look for a dealer service record and check the tyres and discs before buying.

What DGT label does a petrol Hyundai i30 get?

A petrol i30 carries the C label, as every generation postdates the 2006 cut-off for petrol cars. The 48-volt mild hybrids sold from 2020 carry the ECO label.
