Which petrol engine is best in the Hyundai Bayon?

The 1.0 T-GDi turbo copes better with motorways and mountain roads, while the 1.2 MPi is simpler and suits town driving. The turbo also came as a 48-volt mild hybrid, which carries the DGT ECO label.

Is there a diesel Hyundai Bayon?

No, Hyundai sold the Bayon only with petrol engines, some of them mild hybrids. A driver who covers long distances should look at the 1.0 T-GDi, whose turbo keeps consumption down at motorway speeds.

When does a used Hyundai Bayon need its first ITV?

A Bayon takes its first ITV four years after registration, then every two years until it is ten. The earliest cars, from 2021, have already reached that point, so check the date on the ITV sticker.
