Which petrol engine should I choose in a Honda Civic?

For town and mixed driving the three-cylinder 1.0 VTEC Turbo is enough; frequent motorway drivers prefer the 1.5 VTEC Turbo. In Civics before 2017, the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC are simple naturally aspirated engines.

Does the Honda CR-V 1.5 VTEC Turbo have oil problems?

In cold climates some engines had petrol mixing into the oil, which Honda fixed with a software update. It is less common in Spain, but check the oil level and whether the update was applied.

Does a petrol Honda get the DGT C label?

Yes, a petrol Honda registered from 2006 usually carries the C label. Older ones get the B or no label and have limited access to low-emission zones.
