Which DGT label does a Honda hybrid get?

The e:HEV and IMA hybrids carry the ECO label, which gives access to low-emission zones. The CR-V e:PHEV plug-in can get the CERO label thanks to its electric range.

Does a Honda e:HEV hybrid need plugging in?

No, the battery charges from the petrol engine and from braking. Only the CR-V e:PHEV, the plug-in version, connects to the mains.

What should I check on the battery of a Honda Insight or Civic Hybrid?

On older IMA hybrids the battery loses capacity with age, which shows when the electric motor stops helping. Ask a Honda dealer for a hybrid system check before buying.
