Which Ford models are most common second-hand in Spain?

The Fiesta, Focus and Kuga have dominated for years, joined by the Puma since 2019. The Mondeo, Galaxy and S-Max were built at Almussafes for a long time and are well represented too.

What should I check on a Ford 1.0 EcoBoost?

This three-cylinder's timing belt runs in engine oil and must be replaced on Ford's maintenance schedule, so ask to see the invoice. A falling coolant level is a warning sign on early engines.

Are Ford PowerShift automatics a problem?

The dual-clutch gearboxes of the 2010s can judder or hesitate when pulling away. On the test drive, try starts and manoeuvring, and ask whether the clutch was replaced or the software updated.

Which DGT label does a used Ford get?

It depends on fuel and Euro standard: petrol cars from 2006 and diesels from 2015 usually get C, older ones B. Mild and full hybrids carry ECO, and the Kuga plug-in hybrid carries CERO.
