What is the difference between a petrol and a hybrid Ford Puma?

A petrol Ford Puma lacks the 48-volt starter-generator the EcoBoost Hybrid uses to assist its engine. It is mechanically simpler but gets the DGT C label instead of ECO.

Is the Ford Puma 1.0 EcoBoost reliable?

The Ford Puma's 1.0 EcoBoost holds up well when serviced on time with the specified oil, because its timing belt runs in oil and degrades if neglected. Ask for proof of belt and oil changes at Ford's intervals.

Does a Ford Puma ST cost more to tax in Spain?

Yes, the Puma ST's larger engine has more fiscal horsepower, which puts it in a higher band of the municipal IVTM. Insurance and tyres also cost more than on the 1.0 versions.

From €10,540 to €32,890, half under €19,500 · Typically 2023 with 36,000 km. Without the mild-hybrid system, the Puma's 1.0 EcoBoost is a simpler three-cylinder turbo, while the Puma ST uses a 1.5 three-cylinder with 200 hp. Both carry the DGT C label rather than ECO, which matters in city low-emission zones.
