Is the Ford Focus hybrid a full hybrid?

No, the Focus EcoBoost Hybrid is a 48-volt mild hybrid: a belt-driven starter-generator assists the 1.0 petrol engine but cannot move the car on electricity alone. It never needs charging.

Does the Ford Focus hybrid get the DGT ECO label?

Yes, the EcoBoost Hybrid carries the ECO label, which gives wider access to Spain's low-emission zones than a C-label petrol. Some town halls also reduce IVTM for ECO cars, so ask where the car will be registered.

Which gearbox does the Ford Focus hybrid have?

It launched with a six-speed manual, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic was added later in the Mk4's life. On a test drive, check that the automatic pulls away smoothly from a standstill.
