Fiat 500 or Panda: which small Fiat suits a family better?

The Panda. It has five doors, a taller roof and easier access to the rear seats, while the 500 trades space for style with only three doors.

Is the IVTM low on a small Fiat?

Yes. The IVTM is set by fiscal horsepower, and the small engines of the 500 and Panda sit in the lowest bands, though each council fixes its own amounts.

Which Fiat Panda has four-wheel drive?

The Panda 4x4 and Panda Cross 4x4, which send power to the rear axle automatically when the front wheels slip. They suit mountain villages and unpaved tracks better than any other small Fiat.

From €1,290 to €55,000, half under €11,500 · Typically 2022 with 63,568 km · Most listed: Fiat 500, Fiat Panda, and Fiat Tipo. Small cars are the heart of Fiat's range: the retro 500, the upright five-door Panda and the Punto supermini. Short bodies suit old town streets, and low fiscal horsepower keeps the municipal IVTM at the bottom of each council's scale.
