Question 1

Are all new Ebro cars automatic?

Accepted Answer

The Ebro range launched in 2024 is sold with automatic gearboxes: a seven-speed dual-clutch on the petrol models and a dedicated hybrid transmission on the hybrids. A manual Ebro would be one of the brand's older commercial vehicles, not one of its current SUVs.

Question 2

Where are Ebro cars made?

Accepted Answer

Ebro SUVs are assembled in the former Nissan plant in Barcelona's Zona Franca, using technology from the Chinese maker Chery. The name revives a Spanish brand known for its trucks, vans and tractors in the twentieth century.

Question 3

What should I check on a used automatic Ebro?

Accepted Answer

Drive the car in slow traffic to check that the dual-clutch gearbox moves off smoothly without judder or hesitation. As every current Ebro is young, ask for the service record and confirm how much of the manufacturer's warranty remains.

Question 4

What DGT label does an automatic Ebro get?

Accepted Answer

A petrol Ebro gets the C label, a hybrid earns ECO, and a plug-in hybrid gets the zero-emissions label when its electric range reaches 40 km. Check the specific car by its number plate on the DGT website.
