Question 1

Who makes the new Ebro cars?

Accepted Answer

Ebro Factory builds them at the former Nissan plant in Barcelona's Zona Franca, with the Chinese group Chery as its technology partner. The models are based on Chery group platforms and assembled in Spain.

Question 2

Does a used Ebro keep its factory warranty?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer's warranty normally stays with the car when it changes hands, provided the servicing schedule has been followed. Check the remaining term and the service record with the seller or an Ebro dealer.

Question 3

Which DGT label does an Ebro carry?

Accepted Answer

Petrol versions of the s700 and s800 carry the C label, and plug-in hybrid versions with enough electric range get CERO. A classic diesel Ebro from the 1980s usually has no label, which limits it in low-emission zones.

Question 4

Can a classic Ebro be registered as a historic vehicle?

Accepted Answer

In Spain a vehicle over 30 years old can be catalogued as historic after an inspection and a technical report. The status brings its own ITV schedule, and many municipalities reduce the IVTM for historic vehicles.
