Question 1

Who makes Dacia cars?

Accepted Answer

Dacia is a Romanian brand owned by the Renault Group since 1999. Its cars share engines, gearboxes and platforms with Renault models, which keeps parts affordable and familiar to most Spanish workshops.

Question 2

Which Dacias carry the ECO label?

Accepted Answer

The ECO-G bi-fuel versions, which run on LPG and petrol, and the hybrid Jogger and Duster carry the ECO label. The Spring is fully electric and gets the zero-emission label, the one with the widest access to low-emission zones.

Question 3

Is a Dacia with LPG worth it?

Accepted Answer

Running on LPG usually costs less than petrol in Spain, and the car simply carries on with petrol when no gas station is nearby. Check that the gas system works and that it is recorded on the technical card.

Question 4

What is the difference between the Dacia Sandero and the Sandero Stepway?

Accepted Answer

The Stepway is a Sandero with raised suspension, plastic body cladding and roof bars, styled as a crossover. Mechanically the two are close, and neither has four-wheel drive; for that, look at the Duster.
