What is the difference between the old and new Cupra e-HYBRID?

Early e-HYBRIDs used a 1.4 TSI with a smaller battery; since 2024 they use a 1.5 TSI with a bigger battery, much longer electric range and the option of fast charging.

Which DGT label does a Cupra e-HYBRID get?

The e-HYBRID plug-ins get the DGT zero label, which opens every low-emission zone and often brings IVTM and parking discounts. Mild-hybrid eTSI versions get the ECO label.

What should I check on a used Cupra plug-in hybrid?

Ask a Cupra workshop for a battery health report and check that the charging cable comes with the car. Driving in electric mode on the test drive shows whether the range matches what the car displays.
