What should I check on a used BMW M sports car?

Look for signs of track use, such as unevenly worn tyres and brakes, and confirm the servicing in the official history. A road test shows up a tired clutch, differential or suspension.

Will a modified BMW sports car pass the ITV in Spain?

Only if the modifications are legalised: an exhaust, suspension or wheels outside the homologation need an approved and registered reform. Without it, the ITV fails the car.

What is the difference between BMW M and M Performance sports cars?

M cars such as the M2, M3 and M4 are developed by the M division with their own engine, brakes and suspension. M Performance models such as the M240i or M440i are the fastest versions of the regular range.
