Which gearbox does the automatic BMW X4 use?

Both generations of the BMW X4 use the eight-speed Steptronic, built by ZF. It is a durable gearbox, but a fluid and filter change on a high-mileage car is worth asking about, since BMW's schedule does not include one.

Who pays ITP on a used BMW X4 bought in Spain?

On a private sale the buyer pays ITP, the regional transfer tax, before the DGT records the new owner. A dealer sale carries VAT instead, so no ITP is due.

Which DGT label does an automatic BMW X4 carry?

Petrol X4s and Euro 6 diesels carry the C label, while the earliest Euro 5 diesels carry B. Mild-hybrid versions from around 2020 carry ECO, which eases access to low-emission zones.
